It’s National Scotchy Scotch Scotch (and ice cream) Day
They go together like movies and beer.
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated the third Sunday of July as National Ice Cream Day. At an unrelated and currently unknown date, President Sean Connery designated July 27th as National Scotch Day.
Only one of these things is true, and yet, both of these events changed history forever. Not one to miss an opportunity to commemorate greatness, Alamo Drafthouse is celebrating these very special days the best way we know how – by combining them into one intensely delicious beverage.
For two weekends this July, we’re offering our guests the Kookie Kong Milkshake. This ice-cold concoction (that you might remember from our AVENGERS ENDGAME menu) features Alamo Coffee Toddy, Liber & Co Fiery Ginger Syrup, Oreo crumbles, vanilla ice cream, and our favorite made-for-mixing malt, Monkey Shoulder Malt Scotch Whisky.
It's delightful. It's decadent. And according to President Sean Connery, it’s shenshational.
